  1. Can I keep my account forever?
    Your account will remain active as long as you have a current
    student role. If you do not have a role of student your account
    will be removed from the Pegasus server during the account clean
    up period.

  5. I am an alumni and do not wish to keep my account. Who should I contact?
    Send an email requesting that the account should be removed to help@newark.rutgers.edu. For security purposes the request must come from the account to be removed.


  6. I am unable to access my grades and transcripts. What could be the reason?
    The grades and transcript system authenticate using your Pegasus
    account. If you do not have an active role of student, it a great
    possibility to that your Pegasus accounts has been closed.
    Please email help@newark.rutgers.edu to verify if your account is
    active.



  7. I attended Rutgers Newark last semester, but have not graduated. Can I keep my account?
    Only students currently registered, or those who have graduated in the last year can retain their accounts.


  8. I received an email stating that my Pegasus account would be closed. Why?
    Pegasus accounts are reserved for current students and alumni
    (for one year after graduation).  If you do not have a role of
    student or alumni you are not permitted to keep your account.



  9. My alumni account will be deleted soon, how do you suggest I notify people who write me?
    We recommend that students who have graduated take measures to
    give others advance notice of the eventual removal of the
    account.  In particular, we suggest that individuals set up mail
    forwarding on pegasus so that messages are passed on to an

  10. My student status has changed from alumni to student. Can I keep my account?
    Yes, if your student status has changes during the time your
    account is still active your name will automatically be taken off
    the removal list.



  11. What can I do to keep my account?
    In order to keep your account you need to have an active role of
    student.  If you do not have a role of student you are not
    permitted to keep your account.



  12. What is a NetID?

    Yes, several email reminders will be sent to your pegasus/andromneda
    account before the account is closed. This will give you the
    opportunity to transfer your emails and files to another computer
