A NetID is your username which allows access to University services, such as
email, MyRutgers portal, Blackboard, student records, class rosters, etc. Your
NetID is not the same as your RUID.
Your NetID will remain active for the entirety of your time at the
University. Faculty, or staff who leave
and student’s who are not enrolled for a given semester at the university will
have their NetID's deactivated.
