Beyond viewing web pages, browsers
are also designed to download web pages and store (cache) them on your hard
drive. The next time you revisit the same web page, the locally stored version
of the web page is loaded. This repository of text, images sounds and cookies
will have an unintended consequence. As
your hard drive fills with files, which is a history of your travels through the web, the
quantity of stored files may slow down your system. Its best to periodically
clear your browser cache.
