1) Start
Outlook Express
,
select
Accounts
from the
Tools
menu spanning the top of the page.
2) Click the
Mail
tab
3) From the
Internet Accounts
window, select your email account.
4) Click the
Properties
button
5) Click the
Servers
tab at the top of the page.
6) Place a tick mark(select) in the
My server requires authentication
box.
7)
Click the
Settings
button.
a) Select(check)
Use same settings as my incoming mail server
box
8)
Click
OK
.
9) Click the
Advanced
tab.
10) S
elect(check)
This server requires a secure connection(SSL)
,
located under
Incoming Mail (IMAP) or (POP3)
.
11) Click
Apply
,
OK
and
Close
12) Exit
Outlook
Express
.
