There are several reason why someone is unable to login into a computer in the open access lab.

The most typical reason is you have incorrectly recollected your NetID or password. Please speak to a lab consultant to help reset your password

A second possible reason is you no longer have an active role at the University and your account has been closed. Once you return to active status you will be able to access the systems in the open access labs.

A third source of problems is that you have not created your NetID. Please speak to a lab consultant to help create your NetID.

If your problem does not fall into one of these above categories, please speak to a computer lab consultant, or contact Newark Computing Services Help Desk located in Hill Hall Room 109. We can also be reached at 973 353-5083 or email us help@newark.rutgers.edu
