In order to connect to the wireless network you will need to have the proper hardware and the proper wireless connection settings. The hardware needed is a wireless network card that most computers today have as a built in component. Almost all laptop computers that came preinstalled with Microsoft Windows XP have a built in wireless network card you can verify this by looking for a tiny blue light above your key pad or on the side. This light usually has an antenna icon as well to indicate wireless. For a step by step guide on how to connect to the Rutgers wireless network click here.
