The wireless connection can sometimes interrupt
the LAN connection when a computer is trying to reach the network. The best
policy is to disable the Wireless when in the dorm. Disabling the Wireless can
be done by clicking on Start , then Network Connections, Right click on the
connection labeled Wireless and then click Disable in the menu.
*Please
note; the access points are not designed to be used in the suites, or dorm
rooms. Although some residents may be
fortunate to pick up a signal, NCS does not support wireless inquiries from
dorm rooms
