Students can update their private information by following the appropriate
links from the Rutgers main page. Here are the
steps.
- Start a Web browser and go to
http://websearch.rutgers.edu.
- Click on the radio button to
search for People.
- Click on the link for
"Changes and Corrections" that appears in the search box.
- On the next page, click on
the link for the "online form" underneath the heading
"Students".
- Enter your Pegasus NetID and
password.
Users will then have three options from which to choose:
view the entry in the Online Directory; update email address, personal URL, and
how much student information is publicly displayed; and update a home address
and home telephone number. Note: neither Social Security number changes nor
real name changes can be made on these pages.
