The
UCS is your departmental computing liaison.
For
departments who have retained Departmental Services on a long- term contract, their UCS is Departmental Services. Otherwise, your department may
have its own dedicated employee who can assist you with computing issues,
particularly if they are hardware related.
Users should contact their departmental administrator to learn if they
employ a UCS.
If
your office requires a new network connexion and IP address for recently
acquired computers, your UCS may have to contact TD(http://www.td.rutgers.edu) on your behalf.
Any
servers or other hardware which are departmental rather than university-wide
resources are likely to be maintained primarily by the UCS as well.
