(If you're using Microsoft Vista, you are using IE7.)
There are several known issues with using IE 7 and web-based applications in general -- not just our webmail. So far we have identified the following issues as being IE 7-related:
- You set Options of any kind but they do not always stay set
- You get logged out suddenly when clicking on the From:, To:, or Subject: fields in the Compose screen
There are a number of possible workarounds for these issues:
- Downgrade to IE 6 by removing the IE 7 update (if you're running Vista this is not an option for you)
- Run Firefox or another browser instead
- Upgrade IE 7 to the latest release which may resolve some issues
