- When
you first open your outlook application, find the Tools drop down menu and select Email Accounts.
- In the
Window that opens, and under the subtitle E-mail, select the option Add a new e-mail account Then click Next
- In the
Window that opens up, Server Type,
select IMAP Then click Next
- In the
next window that opens Internet
E-mail Settings (IMAP), complete all fields (username should be typed
in all lowercase letters) Then
click on More Settings
- In the
window that opens up, select the Advanced
tab and check off This server
requires a secure connection (SSL) both for the Incoming Server (IMAP): and Outgoing Server (SMTP): Click OK
- This brings
you back to the Internet E-mail
Settings (IMAP) window. Click Next And then Finish
- This
will complete your outlook configuration and outlook may need to be
restarted in order to work properly.
